Spring Chicken Sale!

We have a lovely batch of Freedom Ranger Chickens nearly ready for your kitchen or freezer. There have been a lot of requests for our chickens since they sold out last month. If there are 50 deposits by May 11th, we will add fall batch of chickens to our production plan, so that next winter we do not run out of chickens!

Our Birds

We raise Freedom Ranger chickens in a high welfare environment using local grains (no plastic bags), vegetables and access to foraging for their own foods (they love to find and devour insects). These birds, raised naturally, taste vastly superior to conventionally raised chickens found in the grocery store. They have the genetic capacity to live a full life, have a healthy diet and are free from excessive stress. They express their natural behaviors. These birds experience a life that is much longer and fuller than the birds found in most grocery stores. You can taste this difference and feel good about how your chicken lived.

Fresh birds can be picked up on Saturday, May 11th from 10AM-1PM. After May 11th, birds will be frozen. The price per pound is still $6, despite inflation! After May 11th, our birds will go up in price per pound. Birds will weight between 4-7 pounds. If you buy 10 birds or more, you will receive a complementary 11th bird! Your total will have your deposit deducted, and you’ll pay the balance on pick up.
