Beaver Brook Bakery has partnered with Upper Pond Farm to provide handcrafted European style sourdough bread to our Fall CSA Members. Members will have the choice of Rustic Sourdough, Multigrain Sourdough, Raisin Walnut Sourdough and Pumpernickel. Beaver Brook Bakery has become synonymous with the finest sourdough bread on the CT shoreline. Each boule shaped loaf features a dense crumb and a firm crust.

*Farmers Note: Beaver Brook Bakery bread is amazing! We are excited to partner with Duby because his sourdough is the best in our area, and we enjoy eating it with our whole farm family. We find his bread delicious and digestible; we are energized after devouring it!

The Details:

  • 9 boules over the course of 7 weeks for $60

  • November 1st to December 14th, 2019

  • Double shares before Thanksgiving and the last week of the share (2 boules)

  • BBB uses a rye and wholewheat starter. BBB Multigrain loaf features toasted sesame, flaxseed, pumpkin and poppy.

Your choice of loaf weekly. Email Duby by Tuesday at bbrookbakery@gmail.com or text him at (917)754-0047. Your bread can be picked up with your share on Friday at St. Ann’s or Saturday at 256 Beaver Brook Road. Arrange pick up day and loaf selection with Duby directly.
